Each 500 mg capsule contains extracts of:

Panchvalkal Kwath (Formulation): 200 mg, Chopchini (Smilax China Linn.): 100 mg, Rudanti (Cressa Cretica): 100 mg, Guduchi (Tinospora Cordifolia): 50 mg, Dalchini (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum): 50 mg & Excipients: q.s.

Panchavalkal kwath in Healozen capsule is the combination of five herbs having properties like Shodhana (cleaning) & Ropana (healing) of wounds. Individual drugs & in combination have Kashaya rasa (astringent) dominant & useful in the management of Vrana (wounds) as well as Shotha (inflammations). Panchvalkal kwath posses antiseptic, astringent, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial & healing properties due to its components such as tannins & flavanoids. Panchavalka kwath offer Vrana ropana actions thus helps in Mukhadushika. The antimicrobial effect of Kwath reduces infection caused by bacteria. The anti inflammatory effect offers relief from pain & burning sensation. The local properties of formulation like Lekhana (Remove), Sandhaniya (promoting the union of fractured parts), Shothahara (anti-inflammatory), Ropana (healing), Vedana sthapana (pain) and Rakta stambana (hemostatic) boost repair & healing mechanism .
